how do we work against racism in milwaukee?
Some general ideas I have would be to make milwaukee a place where racism, instituationally, individually and otherwise is in no way tolerated, and is eliminated from and in our daily lives. We have to build up a culture and community where racism is fought against, where racists should be affraid to organize or exist in. People in Milwaukee should be following up on and working to stop local organizing done by facist and racist organizations, intervening to show the racist nature of institutions and organizations which are much harder for us to individually or locally combat, showing solidarity with struggles and people who are blatant victims of racist groups, institutions (such as the state) and otherwise, general community building and sharing information, working on developing a bigger base of people willing to combat racist and fascist organizations, etc.
People made some other suggestions on another post in the ARA section too. I think we should be making copies of anti-racist zines more and distributing them, and at least print the patches we made screens for and sell them to be able to pay for future organizing.
