group description for Queer Action Network

This is something owen wrote for a description for the group. People can comment to make changes or add suggestions for it. I can upload the pictures and whatever people come up with for the description to the main website.

"Queer Action Network is a newly formed group of radical [anti-authoritarian], sex-positive queers, deviants, transfolk and gender rebels. Through means of direct action, we aim to oppose all forces of oppression, and assimilation and to dismantle systems of control and repressive social constructs. We intend to work towards queer empowerment, the liberation of desire, deconstruction of gender, and relationships without restraint

Out of the closet, into the streets!"

Sorry i haven't been able to do much at all with the website in terms of setting up the QAN section. I've had and still have a pretty shitty fever, but it is finally starting to get better. I'll add pictures and the description as soon as I figure out how and after I edit the pictures.

also, there has been discussion about trying to meet before the qzap art show so that we can make flyers to hand out and have a better understanding of what our goals are. could anyone potentially make a meeting wed-thurs? maybe even earlier on friday, if we can really get cracking and get our flyers done? does anyone feel comfortable making the flyers themselves?

sorry i didn't check this forum before the opening, i would have been happy to help try and get flyers there. the show is going to be up for another week or so, so if there are flyers or you want to post info about QAN, please let me know.

also let me know if there is any info we can post on the QZAP site.
