For as much as I don't like reform and seeking legitimacy in the eyes of the state or a greater repressive culture at large, it is extremely important for people to show solidarity with immigrants. We went last year and handed out 500 fliers which explained an anti-capitalist and anti-state critique of borders as an act of solidarity. It would be really great if we could have a presence this year as well.
So far people who ride bikes are talking about meeting at 9:30 at the CCC to ride down to the march. Other people who don't/can't are working on figuring out a park to meet at near where the march starts. So an update should be coming when that is figured out.
