so can we call a planning meeting soon for pridefest? it's only a week away.

maybe on sunday after anarchist soccer? come play, then we'll come up with some ideas?

june 8,9, and 10th.

times haven't been posted on the website, so idk. pride parade is usually on sunday i think, someone mentioned having a radical presence in that. i would also be interested in doing something outside the gates.

When are the counter protesters usually there? I'd definitely be in to having some action to counter them, as long as we'll be there.

I'm pretty sure the protesters are there all three days, mainly during daylight hours. a confrontation with them would be really great, especially one that would inspire others to confront such bigotry (at pridefest, and in their daily lives) directly.

Who'd be interested in forming a radical contingent to join into the pride parade on sunday?

I second having the meeting after anarchist soccer. We were eventually going to try to have anarchist discussion meetings after, but a lot of people who would be potentially interested will be there this sunday.

soccer got heavily stormed upon, so there was no meeting. this is what i was thinking: we haven't had a chance to really plan anything, but it's totally approachable to come up with something for the pride parade at least. we could a couple hours before the parade starts on sunday, bring all kinds of supplies and make a banner or something, and then march. i would love if we could be as loud and colorful and obnoxious as possible, do somethin real fun.

SATURDAY NIGHT! anyoooone who is interested in marching in the pride parade on sunday should meet at the ccc around 7 saturday to brainstorm make banners etc. if you can't make it please call me 414-412-2889 and i'll let you know details about sunday when they get figured out.

I think QAN's march with the pride parade was very sucessful and well-recieved, there is certainly a lot that can be done in the future. Thus, I think we should maybe pick another day soon to meet and discuss what to do after pridefest.
