Should we have a forum outside of general discussion that is kind of a skill share and Q&A place? I just learned a lot about backpacking this semester and could post on that or write tutorials for file-sharing and internet security. If we work at it we could pool our knowledge and have a sort of searchable index of stuff to teach yourself how to do... in conjunction with the ability to ask questions not addressed in the threads.

I think we should try to have as few forums as possible, while still having a sensible division. The current set-up strikes me as acceptable. If we want to have a skill-share area, I could sticky a thread in general discussion for that purpose, and make note of it in the forum description?

totally agree... I too many forums just leads to dead end forums anyway. I like the sticky idea.
